Submissions for Issue 5: Young Creatives are now OPEN and will close on March 14 2025.

(Issue 5 is only open to creators between the ages of 10 and 16)

Please read the guidelines below for sub info!

Submission Guidelines

  • All submissions can be sent to allexistinglitmag@gmail.com . Please include your first name, last name, issue you are submitting to, genre, and title in the subject line.

    • Example: 'JOHN SMITH, ISSUE 4, POETRY, TITLE'.

  • It may take us a little while to get back to you so please be patient!

  • Please include a 100-word blurb about yourself written in the third person. Including name, pronouns, and socials/website links.

  • Please read the specific guidelines for each of our accepted genres.

  • Please only submit to one genre per submission period.

  • Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but please let us know immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere so we can celebrate with you.

  • Previously published work is accepted as long as you have received permission to re-submit. We will credit the original publisher upon its release.

  • If your work has been featured in a previous issue, please do not submit to the issue that immediately follows the one you contributed to (ie, if your work is in issue 1, do not submit to issue 2).

  • All Existing does not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or bigotry of any kind. If you submit work that harms any marginalized community, it will not be considered. 

  • Please do not submit erotica, gratuitous gore, or stories featuring animal abuse. They will not be read.

FICTION

  • Stories may not exceed 3,000 words. We may consider pieces with a word count up to 500 words over, but nothing more than that.

  • You may only submit one fiction piece per submission period.

  • Please attach your fiction piece to your email as a .doc or .word document. Or paste it into the body of your email. We will not consider fiction sent as PDFs.

  • Any genre is welcome, whether that be fantasy, horror, sci-fi, contemporary, etc. As long as it includes whimsical elements.

CREATIVE NON-FICTION

  • CNF pieces may not exceed 3,000 words. We may consider pieces with a word count up to 500 words over, but nothing more than that.

  • You may only submit one CNF piece per submission period.

  • Please attach your CNF piece to your email as a .doc or .word document. Or paste it into the body of your email. We will not consider fiction sent as PDFs.

  • Any topic is welcome, as long as it fits the theme of the magazine.

FLASH-FICTION

  • Stories may range from 100 words to 1,000 words.

  • You may submit up to three flash-fiction pieces per submission period.

  • Please attach your flash-fiction piece to your email as a .doc or .word document. Or paste it into the body of your email. We will not consider flash-fiction sent as PDFs.

  • Any genre is welcome, whether that be fantasy, horror, sci-fi, contemporary, etc. As long as it includes whimsical elements. 

POETRY

  • Poems may not exceed 5 pages.

  • You may submit up to three poems per submission period.

  • Please attach your poem to your email as a .doc or .word document. Or paste it into the body of your email. If your peom contains visual elements, or if the layout of the poem is relevant, please attach it as a word document.

VISUAL ART

  • You may submit up to two visual artworks per submission period. If you are submitting a photography collection of more than two pieces, that is fine, but please do not submit anything else. This goes for any visual medium.

  • Please attach your artworks to the email in a PDF file.

  • We accept photography, paintings, drawings, collages, graphic arts. At the moment we DO NOT accept video submissions.

  • Any genre is welcome as long as it includes whimsical elements.
